About Me
Crafts, Dogs, & Cats...OH MY!
Hello friends!
My name is Gaby. I am the creator of Squishy Paws Crafts. Welcome!
I am a crafter, rescue fur-mom of four pawsome dogs and two purrfect cats, wifey to the most amazing human, Mr. Squishy (aka Josh) and a self-proclaimed dork.
Crafting started as a hobby during my spare time while working in the corporate world. I made crafts as gifts and sometimes even sold a few. In January of 2024, I lost my job and crafting became my mental therapy.
Even though I am bilingual and hold multiple degrees and certifications, including an MBA, my job search here in Texas has been futile. The more time passed, the more I delved into various crafting activities. It was during this time that I started watching and following various crafting creators on TikTok and a whole new world opened for me.
Even though I make various types of crafts, epoxy tumblers has been the most captivating. Most recently, I have extremely enjoyed making textured and hand-painted tumblers. I like to call them... Texture-Pop and Pup-Art or Paw Art because they are inspired by pop-art. Get it? 😉
TikTok didn't just help me explore new craft skills, it vastly expanded my social network. It also became my saving grace and an opportunity to grow as an inspiring artist.
While I enjoy going Livestream, I enjoy watching and supporting other creators more, especially those that not only demonstrate creativity, but also show genuine kindness and a willingness to teach and support each other's growth. Many have blessed me with their reciprocity, and I am forever grateful.
Come join me on this adventure and thank you for supporting my dreams..
Please reach out to me for your next tumbler or craft adoption. Let me create something "pawsome" for you.
